    I read the article from Palo Alto Weekly about this place I so went today. I bought a half chicken, salsa and rice and was charged around $15. It also sold small papayas each $3.50. The owner promised me it was sweet so I bought it too.  Chicken was very delicious. No fat, juicy and tender. I regret that I didn't buy a whole chicken becaue I ate the entire half chicken myself in a meal. Papaya was great but maybe too small for $3.50.  I will definitely rerun for more chicken. Yes. Full chicken next time.

    $20 for family meal including the most gigantic tub of rice you've ever seen, salsa and beans.

    The food:
    - Won't be getting the salsa, and very typical red rice.
    - Chicken was deliciously smoky, tender. Would come back for the chicken!!

    How it works: order from a single file line inside a very small supermarket. They do accept credit card

    The guy who in the register its overcharging on all orders I bought 2 chicken with tortillas and salsa and it's $14.79 per order and he charged me $35 I asked why and he said it was tax, basically I got charged $5.42 for taxes when in Menlo Park taxes is 9.25% that is $2.74 for a total of $32.32
    I included a picture from online sales tax in California.

    Always the most perfectest roast chicken! Muy buenisimo!

    They are cash only for the chicken meals now..$20 though is the same price but fantastic flavor. Amazing!!

    NO STARS if i could but man in his late 20s (owners son) harrased and gave attitude to my husband for asking how much the beer was. I dont know if he was mad about something before he walked in but he went off on him. Insulted my husband saying that he was nobody and was stupid because he couldnt afford a $30 6pack. Obviously $30 for a 6 pack is expensive but instead of anwering politely he insulted and gave off a racist vibe. Violently exclaimed that if my husband had a problem to hit him while he was behind the counter. The guy provoked my husband to the point of a major verbal fight. I dont recomend this store unless you want to get insulted and belittled. As customers we have the right to ask anything we want but as a business owner YOU CANNOT TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY. We are business owners ourselves and we would NEVER make anyone feel the way they made us feel.
